"Falling" is vocalist Alison Moyet's only single of 1993 and first single from the album Essex. The single failed to enter the UK top 40, peaking at #42 for a total of three weeks. Moyet's previous single "Hoodoo" failed to chart in the UK top 100 at all. A promotional video was created for the single. Due to the disappointing charting, CBS/Columbia Records insisted that "Whispering Your Name" was re-recorded and re-produced to create a more 'commercial' package for the next single. The b-side for the single "Ode to Boy" appeared on the same album as well as being released as a single in 1994. The song was written by Moyet and was originally performed by Moyet and Vince Clarke in Yazoo. The American CD single featured the bonus track "It Won't Be Long (Acoustic)" which is an acoustic version of Moyet's 1991 single. For the single, the artwork based on a postage stamp is related to the "Essex" album which also carries the same theme. ==Formats== ;7" Single #"Falling" - 3:37 #"Ode to Boy" - 2:52 ;CD Single #"Falling" - 3:37 #"Ode to Boy" - 2:52 ;CD Single (America only) #"Falling" - 3:37 #"Ode to Boy" - 2:52 #"Falling (Infinite Dub)" - 8:07 #"It Won't Be Long (Acoustic)" - 4:01 ;CD Single (UK only) #"Falling" - 3:38 #"Ode to Boy" - 2:52 #"Falling (Infinite Dub)" - 8:08 ;CD Single (UK promo) #"Falling" - 3:37 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Falling (Alison Moyet song)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
